MIDTOWN --  Dwight Eubanks shared his style, personality and flair with 11Alive on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.  He visited the station to appear on Atlanta & Company. 
Dwight is known for his more than 20 years in the beauty and fashion business in Atlanta and for his past...more recurring role on the "Real Housewives of Atlanta".
Eubanks is heavily involved in the fashion industry and in the next weeks alone plans to travel to Paris, Italy, and to New York for fashion week. Here in Atlanta he runs two salons and has styled many of Atlanta's fashion elite.

CUMMING | New Fowler Park Recreation Center Now Open

Forsyth County officially opened the new Fowler Park Recreation Center on Monday, February 20, with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The new facility was funded by a combination of the Parks, Recreation and Green Space Bond approved by Forsyth County voters in February 2008 and Impact Fees. THE CUMMING HOME has the COMPLETE STORY.

LULA | School bus crash leaves 22 students injured

LULA, Ga. -- A Hall County school bus rolled onto its side at 8:15 a.m. Friday morning, sending more than a dozen students to the hospital.

Bus #9725 ran off the roadway at Joe Chandler Rd. and East Hall Road, a spokesperson for the...more Hall County School System said. 

The Georgia State Patrol said the bus driver had an apparent medical condition, which caused him to black out, allowing the bus to run off the roadway and onto its side.

Twenty-two East Hall students were on board, sixteen including the driver, Doug McClure, were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. 

All of the students were examined and released from the hospital before noon Friday.  The cause of the wreck is continuing to be investigated by Georgia State Patrol.

Atlanta - Just days away from the 53rd annual Grammy Award show, Decatur native and hip-hop star, B.o.B, stopped into our 11Alive studios to once again share his thoughts and music with his hometown city.  B.o.B was a guest on 11Alive nearly 4 years ago before his 1st album sold thousands of...more copies and before everyone knew his name.

On this visit he is on the brink of releasing his sophomore album, Strange Clouds, and is excited about the possibilities.  Two singles have already been released/leaked, including 'Strange Clouds' featuring Lil' Wayne and 'Play your Guitar' featuring Andre 3000.  The third single, is what B.o.B told us feels like his "real single".  The new song is called 'So Good' and releases on February 14th.

Atlanta -  'Fro Fashion Week has enjoyed another great year of success as they returned to the Melia Hotel to offer seminars, tips, new products, and more to the African-American natural hair community (and really any nationality with curly hair).  This is my second year attending and the...more growth is amazing.  Multiple national brands created product booths and VIP suites to not only show off their products, but to pamper the attendees.  Hundreds of attendees participated in the event, which is also a sign of their growth.
What struck me most was that the majority of women I spoke to at the event were NOT from Atlanta. These women drove and flew from all over the South and even the west coast, just to attend this annual event.  In recent years Natural Haircare Industry has seen a boom, as more and more African American women are choosing to leave the chemical processes for more natural products for their hair.
