FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- The Fulton County School System hosted its first Faith Summit to forge partnerships between schools and the faith community Wednesday morning.

MABLETON, Ga. (WXIA) -- A 21-year-old woman has been arrested on charges related to the stabbing death of her sister.

Cobb County police spokesman Mike Bowman said the suspect, Chakaya Folborg, got into an argument with Dyches and stabbed her repeatedly with a knife.

Folborg has been charged with murder and aggravated assault. She is being held without bond in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.

ATLANTA -- One person was arrested following an hours-long police standoff in north Atlanta Wednesday morning.

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, will be charged with firing celebratory gunfire, and may also faces charges for firing at police officers.

...more began shortly before 5 a.m. Wednesday, when police received a call about an armed person barricaded inside an apartment at the Tempo Cabana complex on Curtis Drive near Buford Highway.

Six people, including two children, were inside the apartment at the time, DeKalb County police said.

Woodward Elementary School was used as a staging area for SWAT officials responding to the scene.

DeKalb County police said all of the Woodward students were safe and inside the school during the incident.

Cross Keys High School was monitored as well, but that school was not locked down.
